Five questions to answer before anyone writes code.

Start with the problem, not the product. Who has it, how often, and what do they do about it today? If the honest answer is 'nothing much', the problem may not be worth paying to solve.

Find the buyer. The person who uses a tool and the person who pays for it are often different people. Name both, and make sure the one who pays would actually notice the difference.

Look at who else sells it. Competitors are evidence that people pay. Write down what they charge and what their customers complain about.

Test the price before the build. Put tiers in front of real buyers and see which one they pick. Then decide go or no-go, in writing. That decision is the first gate in an AfterCode build.

Bring the idea. The Foundry gives it a private workspace and takes it through six gates you approve.
